The gadget runs on the Qualcomm MSM 8984AA chip which comprises a quad core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU and has an Adreno 330 GPU.

The Galaxy Tab S runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, supports 3GB of RAM and has 16GB of expandable storage through Micro SD card in the LTE model. It comes with an 8.0 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 2.1 MP front camera. This means that the tablet also has a 4900mAh battery.
