As usual, unboxing the Vivo V50 Lite 4G device left a good first impression with no surprises and the necessary accessories were well presented. Packed within the box was the phone itself, the fast charger of 90W, a USB-C cable, a clear protective case, a SIM card ejector tool, and the user manual.
The charger was made of good quality and the included case was a nice bonus. However, the missing accessories included earphones not present in the package which seems to be a general trend now.
Everything was well-packed and secure. All in all, the contents of the box provided means to jump into the use of the phone without having to search for additional accessories. It clearly shows that the company has a special focus on making the products convenient to use by the users.
Design & Build Quality
First, it was slim and lightweight, which I immediately felt when I picked the Vivo V50 Lite 4G. Having a thin profile of 7.79mm, it is easy to hold in hand. They have designed the edges to be curved and the back side is matte which makes it not very fingerprint prone. Vivo also came with SGS certified low blue light protection that was quite useful especially when using the phone at night. I did not experience eye strain after having used the product for several hours.

To be more precise, photos are detailed with good colors and acceptable dynamic range. In my opinion, I was impressed by the realistic make-up of skin especially in portraits.
However, there is a 2MP depth sensor for the blur effect of the background. It is not revolutionary but it is a rather interesting addition for the portrait mode. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera, which I was quite pleased with. It is very clear that selfies were taken, and the skin-smoothing is not overdone, which I like.

Indeed, the Vivo V50 Lite 4G has all the right features when it is well lit. The colors seem to be quite natural with good color contrast and the dynamic range is good for bright lights and dark areas. I tried it in different environments including parks, streets, and landscape, and the result was always clear. Still, if the picture was zoomed in, the fine texture remained visible. The Autofocus is very fast when shooting in well lit areas making it possible to take quick pictures with a lot of clarity. For a general use of the camera in daylight, this is a good camera for its price range.
Lowlight Photo:
The main camera performs well in low light with the help of the Aura Light feature of the company. It is an additional illumination that can be useful in low light scenes without washing out the picture. It is also accompanied by Night Mode that enhances sharpness but there is some noise present.

While using the device in normal daily operations, I did not encounter any lagging or freezing issues which would make it suitable for day-to-day operations.
For gaming, it is quite satisfactory for handling the less demanding titles, but when it comes to other games, you may need to adjust the display settings to medium in order to get the best performance. As for the casual games, I tried Asphalt 9 and the game did not lag much but there is a rise in temperature after playing for some time.
As for the software, the Vivo V50 Lite has Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. The design is minimalist and there are options through which you can set this mobile phone according to your preference. The Ultra Game Mode was quite appealing as it minimizes the resource consumption to provide a better gaming experience. Regarding its usability, it is quite simple and clear, though it is filled with such applications as OEM bloatware, which can be deleted or turned off.
