The Symphony Z72 is one of the company’s affordable smartphones that is designed for everyday use.

In this review, the primary focus is on the display quality, the camera, battery performance, and Symphony Z72 price in Bangladesh. It is promising on paper with considerably good specifications easily backed up by the local brand trust of Symphony.

However, does it meet the expectations in real-life usage? Now let me go into the details of what it offers and whether or not it shall be worth it in the year 2025

An In-depth Review on Symphony Z72

The new model of slim and sleek Smartphone that has just hit the market is the Symphony Z72 which is an affordable Smartphone. For those individuals who seek for good features in an affordable price range, this phone is worth considering. However, there are certain things that you ought to be aware of before you can own this phone. Here are given all the details and the Symphony Z72 price in Bangladesh.

Box Content

This is what you get inside the Symphony Z72 box:

  • Symphony Z72 Smartphone
  • 10W Charger
  • USB Type-C cable
  • Silicone case
  • User manual
  • SIM tool

The first-time unboxing of the Symphony Z72 was quite appealing to me. Within the box, there is the actual phone, a clear back panel, a 10W charger, a USB cable, SIM card removal tool, and the user manual. All the items were arranged and packed scientifically in a manner that made it very easy to retrieve what was needed.

It is very nice to see an included case and charger at this price range. It is quite evident that when using Symphony, it does not want the users to go for accessories before they start using it. In general the content of the box seems useful and sufficient for everyday use.

Design & Build Quality

The first impression upon taking the Symphony Z72 in my hands was quite positive. All things considered, for the price range of a budget smartphone, the design looks very refined. The phone has a sleek and smooth back panel and this has been made possible by giving it a matt effect, a factor that also contributes to the reduction of a fingerprint. It comes in a couple of stylish colors that give this gadget a sleek look that is not cheap at all.

This one is small and slim and thus can be easily held and operated using one hand. Nevertheless, holding it in one’s hand gives the impression that the gadget is not made of cheap plastic. Indeed, it seems quite solid when in common usage throughout the day. I did not hear any squeaking or any other type of noise that could suggest that some part of the frame is weak.

The button placement is ergonomic. The power and volume control buttons are placed on the right-hand side and are quite responsive and the haptic feedback is reasonable. The protrusion at the back is not very conspicuous and this makes the phone lie flat on a surface without moving around vigorously.

On the front, the display is surrounded by bezels and merges with the body with slightly thick edges, which is quite normal for this price range. The cutout for the selfie camera is minimal and not intrusive to the aesthetic of the phone when placed in front of the screen.

As much as I have spent some few days with the Symphony Z72, I am in a position to say that it can handle the day to day activities. I kept it in my pocket, used it without a cover and yet there were no marks, no signs of wear as if I was using a new phone. It is not a premium build, but for the price, it is a dependable and rather user-friendly interface.

Display

The first thing that I observed from the Symphony Z72 was the large screen size of 6.88 inch. It is an IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution (720 x 1640 pixels) which is reasonable for a phone of this category. In indoor lighting conditions, brightness is adequate and colours appear rather vivid when watching videos or scrolling through various contents.

When it comes to actual experience, the angles of view were reasonable enough. The text and content in movies/conferences are easily legible and watchable even when the phone is tilted slightly. However, when outside under direct sun, I had to adjust the brightness to the max, and it was still only of average brightness.

While browsing through the apps and social media, there was no lagging or any sort of low refresh rate that one would expect from this screen. When it came to simply browsing through emails, watching videos on YouTube, or chatting, the display was adequate. The tactility of the touch was also good, and I encountered no issues of lag or dead zones.

However, what I liked about it was the size of the screen. There is the 20:9 aspect ratio that makes it easy to hold and enjoy the media content in a more immersive manner. The teardrop notch is quite small and does not interrupt or interfere with the videos or games that the user is watching or playing.

It is a great experience to watch a movie or stream a show on this device, more so given the low price range of this product. It is not even full HD standard but for normal usage and basic operations, this laptop delivers the graphics well.

The display of the Symphony Z72 is just about average but is good enough for day to day use in my opinion. If you are an individual who uses media on a budget device then this screen will not let you down.

Camera

When I used the camera on the Symphony Z72, I did not have high expectations as to what it will deliver, but it did not disappoint me. What is more, its main camera is accompanied by three lenses, with the resolution of 52MP. In such a price range, it’s a significant number, and in the lighted environment, it works pretty fine. I took pictures and noticed that the quality was good, with acceptable color and contrast.

The extra two MP sensors are for depth as well as for taking close shots of subjects. They are not very good but give a little assistance in portrait mode. I attempted some portrait shots and the edge detection was good enough, it failed to detect hair sometimes but that is not a serious issue for casual photography.

Day Light Photo:

In the daylight environment, the Symphony Z72 is quite decent in its performance. The main camera has 52MP resolution and takes photos with proper details and quite accurate colors. I tried it under direct sunlight and the images were good with a reasonable amount of detail and contrast. Skies were having an almost cliché blue color, and greenery was not overly saturated.

The front camera is 8MP, and it’s sufficient for taking selfies and making video calls. I tried it in daylight and indoors too and the camera was performing well in both conditions. Beauty mode is on and I can enable the off mode for the skin to appear natural.

Low Light Photo:

The camera did not perform very well in low light, this is relatively understandable given the price range. Images looked softer and noisier. Unfortunately, there is no night mode implemented that would help to get better results in the dark; the only thing that can be improved is the light around the camera. Flash assists, however it is not revolutionary.

For the video, it has the ability to record at 1080p. For normal usage, the quality of the produced notebooks is quite acceptable. It does not have image stabilization and that means that while taking videos, one has to be very steady or put the camera on a tripod.

As for the camera and video aspects, the Symphony Z72 has quite a bit of value for the price range. While it is not designed for professional purposes, for taking photos for social media, for fun, and for simple videos, it is sufficient. It is recommended as one of the good options for buyers with limited budgets who still hope to have a reasonable camera.

Performance & Software

After a week’s usage of the Symphony Z72, it was observed that the performance was quite efficient for day to day usage. It has Unisoc T606 chipset, 1.6 GHz octa-core processor along with RAM of 4GB and has ROM of 64GB. Despite the fact that it is a low end device, this combination performs multitasking of basic applications effectively. There were no problems with using such applications as Facebook, YouTube, and Messenger; the transition between apps was also relatively fast.

There was no major lag observed when it came to browsing, watching videos or even chatting during my tests. As for the performance, it is not designed for games, but I decided to try Free Fire and it worked fine on low graphics. It is not too hot, just warm a little when used for an extended period of time, but that is quite normal.

As for the software part, the Symphony Z72 is operating on Android 15. In reducing the weight it’s very slim and neat which enables the phone to be very responsive. I appreciated that manufacturers do not include many unnecessary applications and everything was clear and easily understandable. Applications launched without any lag and the system’s animations were not too slow to provide decent user experience.

Storage management is smart too. Android Go also manages background activity so that the performance does not decline gradually over time. However, there is a microSD card slot in case you want to increase the storage space of the device.

Face unlocking is quite effective and is only inhibited by the fact that it is not very fast and only works well in well lit environments. There is no fingerprint scanner present, which can be a disadvantage to some people.

By and large, the Symphony Z72 is a decent performer for the price range. This would be suitable for students, first-time smartphone owners, or any user who does not want to spend much but wants a phone that will suffice their needs. Because of these, it can be recommended for use in the entry level category because it is clean and has a stable performance.

Battery & Charging

As for the battery, the Symphony Z72 packs a 5000mAh battery, which was quite impressive as it will last for quite some time. Doing some browsing, social media, watching a few videos on YouTube, and perhaps some gaming, I managed to get a whole day, sometimes even more. For a budget phone that is quite impressive and I am sure it will go down well with the users.

In testing, I recorded an average of about 7-8 hours of the screen-on time, which is suitable for day to day use. The phone is also on standby very well. Battery drainage at night was not much, ranging from 2 to 3% only.

However, charging is pretty basic. It is accompanied by a 10W charger, and it takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours to charge it to 100% from 0%. The only disadvantage is that there is no fast charge support, which may take time if you are in a hurry.

Still, for this price, the battery life outweighs the slow charging. I was charging it once a day, most of the time at night, and it did not complete a day’s discharge before recharging.

The battery performance has been improved on the Symphony Z72 especially for those who are light to moderate users. It is durable, long-enduring, and capable of powering your day without a constant recharge or refill.

Symphony Z72 price in Bangladesh

The Symphony Z72 price in Bangladesh is ৳8,999 after it was officially launched in April 2025. This is an affordable smartphone that has an HD+ 6.88-inches screen, a dual 52MP rear camera, and 5000mAh battery making it suitable for daily use. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is more than enough for the storage of apps and other media. In essence, for those who want an affordable smartphone, the Symphony Z72 offers great value for the price range.

Final Word

From my experience using the Symphony Z72, it can be described as a phone ideal for users on a tight budget. It is good for daily usage, has adequate screen size, and the battery endures entire day usage gracefully. The camera is suitable for normal shots and the structure of the phone feels sturdy.

Despite its minor imperfections, it is worth the money if you’re looking for a product of this type. All in all, the Z72 is a good option for those who need an affordable smartphone that will provide the fundamental functionalities.
