Realme Narzo 80x has been released in the budget category with great ambitions. The smartphone comes equipped with a 120Hz screen, 5G connectivity and premium-looking, and it wants to give more for your money.

But does it truly deliver as is often advertised or promoted? As part of this hands-on review, we will look at how it performs in real life, what it is like to take pictures with it, how long it lasts, and Realme Narzo 80x price in Bangladesh.

An In-Depth Review on Realme Narzo 80x

The Realme Narzo 80x is the latest model in the market which has been recently launched. This review will also focus on the features of the phone as well as comparing it with other phones of similar price range. More specifically it is crucial to understand the benefits and drawbacks of using each device as a tool.

I will also discuss the Narzo 80x smartphone in detail, its performance, camera, battery, etc. Also, you will know the Realme Narzo 80x price in Bangladesh as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the phone to help you make the right decision.

Box Content

This is what you get inside the Realme Narzo 80x box:

  • Realme Narzo 80x Smartphone
  • 45W Charger
  • USB Type-C cable
  • Silicone case
  • User manual
  • SIM tool

Unboxing the Realme Narzo 80x was quite an easy task as the device came with every aspect and detail well thought of. Contained in the box were the phone itself, a clear silicone case, a 45W SUPERVOOC fast charger and a USB Type-C cable. Realme also included a SIM ejector tool and the package came with the standard manual.

The charger is a plus especially because some brands are no longer providing it with the product as they used to. The case seems rather simple but it can offer a primary level of protection. All in all, Realme does not try to innovate in the box content but provides all the basic accessories needed to start with a budget phone without extra frills.

Design & Build Quality

First of all, it would be pertinent to point out the fact that the Realme Narzo 80x has a very appealing design. I picked the “Deep Ocean” version and the style is somewhat premium for a budget smartphone. The back side has a grainy feel when you touch it and they have done a good job to ensure that it is not easily scratched by fingers. The minor fading gives an extra feel of class without the need for gaudy designs.

It is only 7.9mm thin and using the curve design for the side part makes it easy to grip even when using it for sometime. As much as the device comes with a big 6.72-inch screen and 6000mAh battery, the phone feels quite lightweight.

As for the plastic frame and back, it is quite reasonable in this price segment, although Realme has done a good job with the fit and finish. The buttons are clicky, and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the side–responsive and accurate in my use.

What I liked is the IP54 which is a basic protection against dust and water splash. This is not a feature that one will find in most phones under this segment, and it is a boost for extra confidence when using the phone.

Display

The screen on the Realme Narzo 80x is one of its biggest strengths in this segment. The package comes with a 6.72 inches FHD+ IPS LCD screen. First of all, the display looks clear, vibrant, and fluid due to the 120Hz refresh rate. Moving from one app to another, browsing through the Internet or just from one screen to another is smooth and natural.

Outdoor testing was done and while the 950 nits peak brightness was enough to manage through sunlight. Text was still clearly visible and only direct sunlight was still giving a slight problem. Inside, the brightness was adequate and colors appeared vivid for an LCD display.

This was a pleasant experience to watch YouTube videos and other streaming content on this phone. As for the screen quality, it is not AMOLED, but the color production and the contrast ratio is much better than what I thought they would be. Blacks are not as rich as on OLED displays, but for the money, it offers quite a satisfying experience.

The bezels are not too thick which makes it look more contemporary. The notch for the front camera is not intrusive for media consumption as it is placed at the top of the screen.

One drawback is that it is not compatible with HDR but that is to be expected for this price range. You still have a high-quality and quite responsive surface which is perfect for all the basic tasks like browsing, playing games, or watching movies.

In other words, Realme Narzo 80x provides great value for money for display the same level of quality that the best brands offer. Even just in this aspect, the 120Hz refresh rate places it above many competitors. If you are a user who prefers a relatively expansive screen without sharp edges and with maximum brightness, this smartphone will not leave you unsatisfied.

Camera

The Realme Narzo 80x includes a rear-mounted camera that has an aperture of 50MP and a 2MP aperture for portrait shots. For selfies, there is an 8MP front facing camera. As much as I have been using the phone, I can attest to the fact that the rear camera works well in areas of adequate lighting. It is possible to capture photos with reasonable sharpness, accurate colors and good contrast. It is useful for those who like to take pictures for social networking sites and other such sites as well as simple photography.

Daylight Photo:

I was able to take some clear pictures of various scenes at daytime including some of the best scenes to capture and beautiful small objects. Contrast is fairly high, but it is not oversaturated, so the focus is rather fast. However, this is not the case when the light is low because the picture quality significantly deteriorates. Pictures become less sharp, and noise is made more distinguishable. The dedicated Night Mode is somewhat useful, albeit to a limited extent.

Low Light Photo:

Now, I want to discuss something that is quite important, and that is low-light photography. This is where the Narzo 80x falters slightly on the side of the camera. With low light, the images become blurry and there is a loss of high resolution. Distortion starts to be heard, and dynamic range decreases. Nonetheless, Realme has a standard mode called Night which just enhances the brightness and sharpness of the picture. It is not a great leap but can come in handy when there is a need to capture a picture at night.

The portrait mode is good enough, along with okay edge detection. At some times, it is often challenged in distinguishing the background particularly in scenes with many objects. The 2MP depth sensor is not useful in any way but is included in the phone.

The front camera is satisfactory when it comes to selfies and making video calls. The skin tones are quite realistic, but the sharpness of the image could be improved. Well, first of all, be prepared to see some grain and loss of detail in the scene, especially when you are using the camera in low light conditions.

Regarding the video recording, the phone can capture videos at a resolution of 1080p at 30 frames per second. Videos are quite sturdy in good light, but there is no sophisticated stabilization. Sometimes when one moves a lot, it is possible for the footage to become a bit shaky.

Realme Narzo 80x has a decent camera system that is appropriate for the device’s price range. If one does not intend to use their smartphone for professional photography or video recording, Nokia 6 is sufficient. If your expectations are set right, then the camera setup is quite acceptable.

Performance & Software

The Realme Narzo 80x is running on MediaTek Dimensity 6400 5G processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB in-built storage. On the operational level, the interface is smooth and quite responsive. I tried it with other applications opened at the back and I did not see any lag or slow down in the operation of the apps.

The apps start instantly, and simple games such as Subway Surfers or Call of Duty Mobile perform quite smoothly. Because the Acer Aspire 5 is designed for casual gaming, it can run most games at lower graphics settings; nevertheless, it does not compromise on the gaming experience. The high refresh rate is also seen in 120Hz which enhances the smoothness while scrolling or moving through the interface.

In terms of the software, it has Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. Some of the features of this interface are smooth and up-to-date. Another set is split-screen, smart sidebar, and gesture navigation, which are incorporated and are functional.

Nevertheless, there is some bloatware that comes with the system. Some of the apps are Hot Apps, Hot Games; although these apps are problematic, they are not difficult to remove because most of them can be deleted or turned off. As for me, there were no critical issues with bugs and the application started working very fluently during my usage.

It also has Dynamic RAM Expansion, which utilizes the existing storage space to increase RAM on the phone. It is quite useful when moving from one heavy application or a game to another.

In the aspect of connectivity 5G is good and did not experience any problem with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity.

The Realme Narzo 80x is well suited for daily use and basic gaming. It is not a performance-oriented device but with a smooth UI, Android 14, and 5G, it is quite efficient in the price range. Though not stunning, the phone has a stable performance that does not come with a lot of complications.

AnTuTu Benchmark & GeekBench Score

Antutu v10 benchmark test was conducted on the Realme Narzo 80x in which the phone scored 446,033; ranking it 73% higher compared to the smartphones in its class. This score can be regarded as satisfactory for daily usage and casual gaming.

Specific Geekbench scores of Narzo 80x aren’t given; however, phones with similar hardware configuration are said to have a single core test of 700-800 and the multi core test of 1,800- 2,000. This can be taken to mean that the Narzo 80x can deliver on the day to day tasks without a hitch.

In terms of performance, the Realme Narzo 80x is a dependable handset in the segment for which it has been priced. It can be recommended to those users who are looking for an affordable device that will perform basic tasks without any issues.

Battery & Charging

The Realme Narzo 80x has a 5000mAh battery and in my use, the phone can go a full day with average to heavy usage. I watched videos, surfed the internet, played games and still had battery to the extent that I could use it till night. While for the light user, it can extend upto the second day.

Even more to my liking is the 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Charger is included in the package which is a plus for Realme. In real world usage the phone managed to charge from flat to about fifty percent within half an hour. A full charge of the battery required about 70–75 minutes.

They also include smart charging optimization that is used to prevent the degradation of the battery over time. A big advantage of the phone is that it does not get hot while charging.

The battery I liked most was their performance, especially bearing in mind the price that I had to pay for it. There is no question that anyone, be it a student, a gamer or an average user, will be able to appreciate the reliability and durability of this product. The fast charging is the icing on the cake, something that users with no patience for charging time will definitely enjoy.

Realme Narzo 80x price in Bangladesh

The Realme Narzo 80x price in Bangladesh is BDT 22,000 (Unofficial) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option.

Taking into account its characteristics such as a 120Hz display, 5G, and 6000mAh battery, it can be concluded that the smartphone is good for those who want to save money. If you want an affordable mid-ranger with good performance, the Narzo 80x should not be dismissed.

Final Word

I must say the Realme Narzo 80x is a good 5G phone in the budget segment that I have been using for some time now. There is no compromise on performance, it has a glossy screen with 120Hz refresh rates, and battery life is quite decent. The design looks quite contemporary and the fact that it comes with a fast charger is an added advantage. Cameras are acceptable for the price, but the night mode could be better. All in all, If you are considering an all-round mid-range smartphone with all the necessary features to be used in everyday life, Narzo 80x can be a perfect choice in 2025.
