However, it is well supported by Vivo’s reliable manufacturing and can be recommended for both the gaming and everyday audiences. But is it successful to fill the gap in the mid-end market segment? Let’s find out.

An In-Depth Review on iQOO Z10

The iQOO Z10 is the latest smartphone that has been released in the mid-range market category. This review is an attempt to know how the cell phone is designed, how it performs its operations and how it measures up to other similar gadgets in the market. In order to provide you with the best information that would help you decide whether or not to use this particular type of investment, we will highlight the main benefits and drawbacks of using it.

In this article, I will also try to explore more about the Specifications of this phone, the real world performance and the iQOO Z10 price in Bangladesh. Read on to know all the details that we came across as we compiled the list that you consider to make the right choice.

Box Content

This is what you get inside the iQOO Z10 box:

  • iQOO Z10 Smartphone
  • 90W Charger
  • USB Type-C cable
  • Silicone case
  • User manual
  • SIM tool

I was quite satisfied with the unboxing of the iQOO Z10. In the box I received the actual phone, a clear plastic body case, the pre-applied screen protector and the SIM card removal tool. It also comes with a 90W fast charger and a USB Type-C cable to allow for fast charging in case of power boost. It is also important to note that the company has not totally dumped the box charger like some other companies have started doing.

The packaging of the product felt very solid and tightly packed which is a sign of a careful and a well thought over process. The basic package has all the tools you will need to begin with and the installation is very simple and straightforward.

Design & Build Quality

At first, I saw how the iQOO Z10 has an aesthetic design which looks contemporary to me. The body of the phone is made of plastic material with a matte finish and has slightly curved edges to fit the hand. It has a weight of approximately 199 grams, which gives it a good weight that is not very bulky.

The most distinctive design element in my view was the circular camera module situated at the back of the device. The gadget comes with two color options namely the Glacier Silver and the Stellar Black, both of which give a sleek appearance.

It has a large 7,300mAh battery which has been complemented with a thin form factor of 7.89mm. This design decision makes the phone on the one hand, highly robust and on the other hand, convenient to carry with you wherever you go.

The iQOO Z10 is also rated for dust and water resistance with an IP65 rating and is built to meet MIL-STD-810H military standards to make it suitable for daily use.

The design of the iQOO Z10 is well rounded, both in terms of the look and feel, as well as the build quality making it a good choice for an individual who wants an aesthetically pleasing phone that is also durable.

Display

I must say that the display on the iQOO Z10 was one of my first impressions that left me amazed. It has a solving screen of 6.77 inches, AMOLED with clear and colorful picture quality. No matter you are browsing Facebook and Twitter, watching some videos or games, the screen looks bright and the blacks are really dark due to the AMOLED screen.

Among them I would like to highlight the feature of a high update refresh rate of 120Hz, which makes the operation of the interface itself glide smoothly. This is something that can be observed when browsing through applications or when playing games that have rapid movements, in such a case, it will all feel smooth. The FHD+ resolution means that whether the images displayed on the screen are texts, pictures or any other information, they all look sharp and detailed to give the impression of a virtual environment.

The display, however, is still more than capable of functioning well even in bright outdoor condition. With a brightness level of 5000 nits, I did not feel the need to squint when reading texts or viewing images in the light of day. This brightness alongside the high contrast ratio ensures that the iQOO Z10’s screen is perfect for multimedia consumption as it offers a premium experience.

The design aspect that can be seen from the outside is the absence of thick frames around the sides of the screen which not only makes it easier for the user to view content but also gives it the contemporary look. The movies and games were enjoyable on the Z10 because the screen size is bigger and has a much better display quality.

Camera

The iQOO Z10 is equipped with a 50MP main camera on the back and 2MP for depth sensing. On average, the main sensor works very effectively during the day. Pictures taken in daylight provide a high color reproduction, fine details, and the correct exposure range. These appeared vibrant and ready for sharing on social media sites regardless of whether it was a landscape shot, a street shot, or a close-up shot.

Daylight Photo:

The performance of the Z10 in terms of daytime photography is impressive therefore it can be said that it is one of the device’s strong suits. It is also very good at handling natural light, keeping the exposure level appropriate and the colors rather authentic. At this level of magnification, detail was relatively good even in the in-focus area and even out of focus areas were not particularly blurry. The autofocus is rather fast and accurate in well-lit environments, which is suitable for taking spontaneous photographs.

Low Light Photo:

That is, it is not very good at taking photos at night or in low light conditions, a characteristic which is common with most phones in this category. The noise increases while the sharpness decreases. But in Night Mode setting, the Z10 is still able to brighten scenes and enhance the clarity of the picture while it may overexpose the light source sometimes. It’s not the best of the best in the low light photography, but it’s functional for snap shots at night.

Even the 32MP front camera is not disappointing as well. Taking selfies is good and bright, the skin color is natural, and the edge detection is good in portrait mode. In fact, indoor lighting scenarios performed relatively well and sometimes extraordinarily so.

The Z10 supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. It is stable in handheld shooting especially during the day though there is no OIS. It also takes adequate photos and videos for vlogging or video calls.

For the general everyday use, it is possible to capture good images with the iQOO Z10, especially under well-lit conditions. It may not be a professional grade shooter, but it gets the job done for casual sharing.

Performance & Software

The performance of the iQOO Z10 was perfect, and it was very easy and smooth to perform regular tasks. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor manufactured using the 4nm process technology that enhances power efficiency and performance. I tried it with several other apps opened at the back and it did not slow down or stutter in any way. It was able to do so smoothly even when I was jumping between high resource intensive applications.

Gaming was a pleasant surprise. I have played other games such as Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG Mobile at high graphic quality. Frame rates were steady while using the phone and it did not become too hot although it has a powerful processor that generates heat and this is due to the vapor chamber cooling system. The 120Hz refresh rate on the display made it more fluent when playing games.

As for RAM and ROM, it offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X and 128GB UFS 2.2, which is quite sufficient for smooth multitasking and fast launching of apps. There is also RAM virtualization up to 8 GB that provides a stable performance in active use.

On the software side, the iQOO Z10 is installed with Funtouch OS 15 which is based on Android 15. The UI feels lightweight, responsive, and mostly bloat-free. Some apps are bundled with the device but many of them are not and can be removed. I liked Ultra Game Mode as well as battery optimization settings. This is a plus on the longer-term use of the phone since it has extended android updates and security patches.

It doesn’t matter if you are just scrolling through the pages, playing games or doing both at once, this iQOO Z10 is ready to handle all of that. The decent chipset, good software, as well as a high refresh rate make it a good performer in its category. It is highly recommended for customers who value high-speed work and affordable prices for a device of this level.

AnTuTu Benchmark & GeekBench Score

While testing in my own time, I was able to get quite high scores with iQOO Z10. In AnTuTu v10 Benchmark, it gained 812,594 which put it on the same league with other high-end devices within the same category. As for the detailed breakdown of the score, in the CPU aspect, CPU achieved 271,258, whereas GPU got 205,628, Memory 151,790 and UX 183,918.

In Geekbench 6, the Z10 got a single-core score of 1,168 and a multi-core score of 3,223 which indicates good performance for single core and multi-core works.

These scores are reflected in good ability to work in parallel, fast application launches and stability when running games. It does not matter whether you are a browser, a streamer, or a gamer, the iQOO Z10 will perform all tasks seamlessly.

Battery & Charging

The battery power of the iQOO Z10 is as high as 7300mAh, and therefore, the device is very durable. In my case, it was able to last more than two days with average usage which involved streaming, browsing and gaming.

It is quite easy to charge the device because it supports fast charging at a rate of 90W. My personal experiment showed that Z10 charged from 9% to 90% for about 61 minutes; that is quite a good result considering the battery capacity is rather big. This rapid charging helps in charging the phone in the shortest time possible so that one can be connected all day.

It also regulates heat well during charging sessions and protects the device from damages as well as offers the best performance. Furthermore, the Funtouch OS offers battery features to improve the battery duration and performance.

First, it has a large battery capacity and supports fast charging, which is highly suitable for users who want longer battery life without charging often.

iQOO Z10 price in Bangladesh

The iQOO Z10 is not officially available in Bangladesh. However, the iQOO Z10 price in Bangladesh is BDT 32,000 (Unofficial) with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of phone storage . For the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, the price is BDT. 34,500.

These are tentative and may change with the actual release prices depending on importation costs, taxes, among others as well as market forces. As for the current and the most accurate price, it is highly recommended to refer to the iQOO authorized dealer or the official iQOO Bangladesh website once the device is released.

Final Word

All in all, the iQOO Z10 is a balanced smartphone that I had an opportunity to use. It is a battery friendly device with fairly good performance and a good display. It is perfect for average video shots. It may not be a flagship, but in this segment, it offers good performance. All in all, the iQOO Z10 is a good mid-range smartphone with a long battery life and fast charging capabilities.
