General features of Tecno Camon 40 have been revealed prior to the official release of this smartphone model. The device comes equipped with an AMOLED type screen of 6.78 inches with a frequency of 120 Hz, the resolution is 1080 x 2436. Inside it comes with the Mediatek Helio G100 Ultimate as the chipset, has options for 8 GB RAM, and internal storages of 256 GB.
The smartphone offers a dual-camera setup on the back with the primary 50-megapixel camera that has optical image stabilization and the second camera with 8-megapixel with ultrawide lens, and the front-mounted a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. Using Android 15, the Camon 40 has HIOS 15, with a 5200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
Other highlights are an in-display fingerprint reader, dual-front-firing speakers, NFC, and dust and water resistance of IP66. The device will come in four colours, namely: Emerald Lake Green, Galaxy Black, Glacier White and Emerald Glow Green.
