An In-Depth Review on Realme C67

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G is a solid budget phone that manages to strike a balance between performance and affordability. Here’s a breakdown of its key features:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Design and Build Quality

The Redmi Note 13 4G has a nice design that hides its plastic build with shiny materials. Up front is a big 6.67-inch AMOLED display that's the center of attention. It offers a good combination of resolution and refresh rate, which used to only be on more expensive phones.

The FullHD+ display has small bezels and refreshes at a fast 120Hz for smoothness. Like many 2024 phones, Xiaomi says it has a high 1800 nit max brightness. In real use outside, seeing the screen isn't a problem. It also has an under-display fingerprint sensor, which was usually only on pricier phones. Xiaomi protects the display with Gorilla Glass 3, which isn't common at this price point.

In terms of protection, it has an IP54 rating for water and dust. While we criticized the Note 13 Pro 4G for this, the basic Note 13 4G is competitive with similar phones at this price.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Display

The Redmi Note 13 has a big, high refresh rate AMOLED display. The screen is an improvement over the Note 12 with thinner bezels and a more modern look. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner that works well.

It has some improved screen quality compared to the Note 12. The colors are more vibrant but it's not a huge difference unless you put them side by side. However, the Note 13 screen is brighter and easier to see even in bright sunlight outdoors.

The 120Hz AMOLED screen has good viewing angles and deep blacks. Scrolling through apps and on social media is very smooth. Overall, the Note 13 provides an enjoyable viewing experience.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Performance & Software

The Redmi Note 13 4G has a pretty decent Snapdragon 685 processor that allows for basic tasks without issue. You can browse the web, scroll through social media, switch between apps and send messages without problem.  Xiaomi definitely helped with their fast RAM and storage.

However, more demanding tasks will really push the limits of the Snapdragon. Don't expect to quickly edit videos without some lag, as the benchmark scores show. When it comes to gaming, the Snapdragon 685 is showing its age. While it's basically just an overclocked Snapdragon 680 from 2021, gaming performance is about half of the 5G version or similarly priced phones like the Galaxy A14 5G.

But like its more powerful siblings, the Redmi Note 13 4G can still run most Android games. I tested Call of Duty Mobile and Genshin Impact with low graphics settings. COD ran smoothly enough to win some matches. Genshin was a bit choppy under 30 fps but still playable. So if you're looking for basic gaming on a budget, this phone will do the job.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Camera

The Redmi Note 13 4G has a triple camera setup like the 5G model: a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a questionable 2 MP macro. Pictures from the main camera were pretty good, especially in daylight. The 3x digital zoom photos were also usable.

Night shots were tricky. But night mode improved colors and sharpness compared to standard mode in low light. The ultra-wide camera's lower resolution meant less sharp images, with some blur in daylight and lots at night. Night mode isn't available for it either.

Macro shots just smeared pixels, even when the preview looked good. Readers know our frustration with useless macro lenses hidden in settings.

Selfies were a mixed bag. Night selfies surprisingly turned out good, even with portrait mode. Daylight selfies were less good with some sharpening by default and blur in portrait mode. But for the price, these faults can be forgiven.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Network & Connectivity

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G is not a 5G phone, it only has 4G LTE connectivity. It also doesn't support all LTE frequencies, so you may have issues getting data in some areas when traveling.

In our testing, the mobile data reception was usually good but not quite as reliable as more expensive phones. It has WiFi 5 which is the same as other similarly priced devices. When connected to our Asus ROG router, we got speeds between 300-380 Mbps which is what you expect from WiFi 5.

Right next to the router the signal was strong but pages still took a little while to load sometimes. With 10 meters and 3 walls between the phone and router, the signal strength dropped to around 3/4 and pages took a bit longer to load.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Memory & Storage

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G is a device that balances performance and storage needs adeptly. At its heart, the phone offers a choice between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and documents. This storage is backed by UFS 2.2 technology, which ensures fast read and write speeds, contributing to the overall snappy performance of the device.

In terms of memory, the Redmi Note 13 4G comes with two configurations: 6GB or 8GB of RAM. This RAM is of the LPDDR4X type, which strikes a balance between high performance and power efficiency. The 6GB variant is well-suited for everyday tasks and moderate multitasking, while the 8GB option caters to more demanding users who may engage in intensive gaming or keep multiple apps running simultaneously.

The phone’s memory and storage capabilities are further enhanced by its provision for expandable storage. Users can utilize the microSDXC card slot to increase their storage capacity, although it’s worth noting that this uses a shared SIM slot. This flexibility allows users to tailor the phone’s storage to their specific needs, whether it’s for hoarding high-resolution photos taken with the phone’s impressive camera or for keeping an extensive library of videos and music.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Battery & Charging

The Redmi Note 13 4G has the 5000mAh battery as many other phones in its range, including other Note 13 models. This means it has decent battery life. Plus, the 33W fast charger comes with charges about twice as fast as optional chargers for other phones.

Compared to the Note 13 Pro 4G we recently tested, the Redmi Note 13 4G had noticeably better battery life. A test showed it lasted 18 hours and 4 minutes when the screen brightness was at 200 nits from 80% to 20% charge.

That result was around 50% better than the Pro model. However, the phone was using its default 60 Hz refresh rate for the screen during the test. When switched to 120 Hz, the Redmi Note 13 4G's battery life went down by about 20% in the test. But it still outlasted the Note 13 Pro 4G.

With regular daily use and the screen set to 60 Hz, the battery should last two full days. But lots of video streaming, gaming, or having the screen on for extended periods will likely require a charge each day, especially with the 120 Hz refresh rate turned on.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Price in Bangladesh

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Price in Bangladesh is BDT 22,999 for the official variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This model has another 8GB+256GB variant at a price of 25,999.

This is officially available in Bangladesh which is why you can purchase it officially. It comes with 4 different colors which are Midnight Black, Mint Green, Ice Blue, and Ocean Sunset. You can purchase this smartphone from Xiaomi's official showroom, authorized shop and online shop.

This price point makes it a competitive option in the budget smartphone market. When compared to other devices in the same price range, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G stands out with its high-resolution camera, efficient chipset, and generous memory and storage.

Why You Should Purchase Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G  boasts a robust set of features that cater to both casual and power users alike. At the heart of the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, which ensures smooth operation whether you’re multitasking, gaming, or streaming content. The phone’s 6.67-inch AMOLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate, promises vibrant visuals and fluid motion, making it a pleasure to use for any media consumption. Moreover, the 108MP main camera allows you to capture life’s moments with stunning clarity, supported by a comprehensive suite of photography features. The generous 5000mAh battery, coupled with 33W fast charging, means you can rely on the Redmi Note 13 4G to keep up with your busy lifestyle without constant recharging.

Also, the inclusion of features like stereo speakers, NFC, and an infrared port add layers of utility that are not always found in phones within this price range. Priced competitively, the Redmi Note 13 4G stands out as a smart investment for those who want a high-quality smartphone experience.

Final verdict

The Redmi Note 13 4G is a really good budget phone. Not much changed from the last model, but it's still one of the best options around 25 thousand rupees. The AMOLED display looks great, though there are some minor issues when using the camera in portrait mode. The camera quality is decent overall. They brought back the dual speakers, which is a nice bonus. Basically, the Redmi Note 13 4G gives you a balanced phone that's comfortable to use, affordable, and delivers a good experience, all for around 25 thousand taka.
