Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold Overview

The new Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphone is taller and slimmer than the previous model. The exterior screen measures 6.3 inches and folds to reveal an 8-inch flexible display on the interior. Google claims the 8-inch screen is the largest ever on a mobile device. 

The exterior screen has a resolution of 1080x2424 at 422 pixels per inch. Both screens can get very bright, with the exterior reaching 1800 nits for HDR and the interior hitting an impressive 2700 nits. When folded, the device measures only 10.5mm thick and just 5.1mm when unfolded.

Under the hood, it uses the same powerful G4 Tensor chip with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The camera system received some nice upgrades as well - the main camera is now 48 megapixels, there's a new 10.5MP ultra-wide and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
