Google Pixel 9 Overview

Google has launched their brand new phone Google Pixel 9. It was released on 3 August 2024. The display is a 6.3-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080x2424 pixels that can adjust its refresh rate from 60Hz up to 120Hz. The screen can reach very high brightness levels, up to 1800 nits locally and 2700 nits at peak brightness. The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the tough display.

The Pixel 9 is powered by Google's Tensor G4 processor and Titan M2 security chip. The camera system features a 50-megapixel main camera as well as a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera. It can digitally zoom up to 8x while still keeping photos detailed, even from far away.  

The battery holds 4700mAh and supports 45W fast charging. It also works with wireless charging. The device runs the latest version of Android and Google promises 7 years of OS and security updates.
