An In-Depth Review on Realme 13
Realme unveiled the latest model Realme 13. In particular, the phone has arrived at the market as a mid-range device. Of course, before buying such a phone you need to know how this particular phone would be for you, right?
This review will endeavor to consider the various specifications in relation to this phone. And let’s know about the Realme 13 price in Bangladesh.
Design & Build Quality
Design | Specifications |
Weight | 190 grams |
Thickness | 7.8 mm |
Colours | Speed Green, Dark Purple |
IP Rating | IP64 |
Waterproof | Splash proof |
Ruggedness | Dustproof |
Design Rating | 3.5/5⭐ |
The Realme 13 makes a bold statement with its sleek, modern design. The phone is relatively thin with a thickness of 7.8mm and a weight of approximately 190g so it is easy to hold it for a long time. It is classic but at the same time utilitarian, which cannot be said of many decoration styles.
Some images of the Realme 13 phone’s design and build quality shown below:

The back panel has a matte finish which is good news for anyone that does not like dealing with fingerprints. It is not excessively flashy but still is not boring, having certain curves, looking very fancy.
But what really I immediately looked at was the quality of build. The smartphone feels solid in my hand, though not particularly heavy. The frame is plastic which is a bit of a let down but the plastic is very robust and sturdy. I once dropped it from a short distance and did not suffer a scratch and given it is a mid-ranged phone this is truly remarkable.
The phone is also practical. The screen to body ratio of 86.6% enhanced by an almost bezel-less 6.72- inch screen makes it suitable for viewing. But it goes further with features such as the Rainwater Smart Touch system that makes the device respond to touches accurately even in the rain.
Display
Display | Specifications |
Display Type | IPS LCD |
Screen Size | 6.72 inches (17.07 cm) |
Resolution | 1080×2400 px (FHD+) |
Aspect Ratio | 20:9 |
Refresh Rate | 120 Hz |
Pixel Density | 392 ppi |
Brightness | 580 nits |
Display Rating | 3/5⭐ |
The first thing that caught my eye when I switched on the Realme 13 was its 6.72-inch FHD+ Screen. It has a 2400×1080 pixels display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, everything seems really snappy. Moving through social media sites and scrolling through the Web felt smooth and natural.
Some images of the Realme 13 phone’s display quality shown below:

What impressed me most was the brightness. The screen has a max brightness of 580 nits therefore it’s bright and clear even when used under direct sunlight. I left it in the afternoon with clear sunlight, and it was still possible to read texts and watch videos without any strain. Despite this, the 86.5% screen to body ratio makes it look nearly bezel-less, making the experience even better.
Contrast on this display is very good and the colors are as true to life as possible. Every time I was streaming a movie or playing games, the visuals were always clear and bright. Rainwater Smart Touch was a novelty, the screen can be touched. Ideal for those random showers or for when your fingers are damp due to holding game controllers.
Cameras
Camera | Specifications |
Primary camera: | 50 MP, f/1.8 |
Front camera: | 16 MP, f/2.5 |
Image Resolution | 8150 x 6150 Pixels |
Video Recording Capabilities: | up to 4K at 30fps |
Camera Rating | 4/5⭐ |
It has a good camera department for the price point it is targeting. The primary camera of 50MP offers high detail and gives well-focused images. During the day I thought the colors were very bright and the contrast was fairly even. HDR is fine and does particularly well in complicated lighting. I attempted to photograph the sunset, and got the most beautiful shots. The colors in the sky seem to be genuine, and there is no overexposure in the brighter areas.
Realme 13 phone’s camera Font and Rear View :

The 16MP front facing camera takes decent selfies. Skin colors are realistic, and there is enough resolution for posting on social networks. The portrait mode is pretty reliable for the most part with proper edge detection though occasionally it fails at hair or complex backgrounds.
Video capabilities are most reliable. Main camera can do up to 4K at 30fps. I shot a few clips and stabilization worked fine, but there is a bit of cropping as the result of EIS (electronic image stabilization). For the occasional user, it is sufficient enough. Low light video, however, is not as good as it could be, with some noise coming in.
Some images of the Realme 13 phone’s camera in different modes are shown below:

The Night Mode surprised me. The images taken in low light appear brighter and more detailed as compared to the original image but noise is quite visible. All in all, Realme 13 Cameras are quite good and provide good value for money for everyday photography.
Performance & Software
Hardware | Specifications |
Processor | Mediatek Dimensity 6300 |
Software Version | Android v14 |
CPU | Octa-core (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) |
GPU | Mali-G57 MC2 |
Performance Rating | 4/5⭐ |
The Realme 13 was easy to use to the core. At its core, it comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 and with 8GB RAM as well. I however realized how responsive the phone was despite the running of more than one application. It was easy to alternate between Instagram, YouTube, and a few games..
The images of the Realme 13 phone’s performance test shown below:

In gaming, this phone did not disappoint at all because it offers Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. This is true given that I tested Call of Duty Mobile on average graphics quality, and even this had no lagging issues whatsoever. Basic games such as Call of Duty Mobile and heavy games such as Asphalt 9 ran smoothly, because of the 120Hz refresh rate screen. While the phone did get somewhat warmer during intense gaming sessions it never became unbearable.
On the software side, the Realme 13 operates Realme UI 5.0, which is built on Android 14. It is easy on the eyes, easy to use, and offers such novelties as Dynamic Buttons and Air Gestures.
The issue of bloatware is well contained, although the phone came with some of the preloaded apps. All in all, I have no complaints when it comes to the general smoothness and smooth navigation of the device and its functions without jerks during working with applications.
Storage Options
Storage | Specifications |
RAM | 8 GB |
RAM Type | LPDDR4X |
Internal Storage | 128 GB |
The Realme 13 also comes with expandable storage depending on a user’s preference. It is provided in two storage sizes: 128GB and 256GB, which is more than enough space to load the OS, as well as multimedia files. I opted for the 256GB model, and it felt like a relief not worrying about running out of space..
You can also expand the memory by adding a microSD card if you are a media lover who loves to store many files. Along with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM, multitasking proved to be smooth and without issues.
Battery & Charging
Battery | Specifications |
Battery type | Li-Poly (Lithium Polymer) |
Quick Charging | 5000 mAh , 50% in 30 min (advertised) |
USB Type-C | USB Type-C 2.0 |
Battery and Charger Rating | 4/5⭐ |
The Realme 13 has a 5000mAh battery, and it really does live up to the billing. Even under a mixed usage of browsing, gaming and streaming, I was able to complete a full day of usage on a single charge. Despite this they were able to last till bedtime even with a lot of usage.
Some images of the Realme 13 phone’s battery and charger are shown below:

Charge time is relatively small because the phone comes with a 45W SuperVOOC charger. It only took me 30 minutes to go from almost empty to 60% which is very ideal if you are in a hurry and want a quick addition of charge. To anyone who is always on the move this battery performance and charging speed are really a god send. It’s dependable and maintains efficiency easily.
The Experience
This has been delightful having been using the Realme 13. It has that aura of elegance from the way it is being designed and closely touches every aspect of the phone to the way it runs that gives it an aura of finesse. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, scrolling and gaming are a joy.
In general, it may be concluded that owning a Realme 13 is a chance to receive a really luxurious experience with the use of really cheap money. It feels like it’s a device that punches way above its weight.
